Southern Charm
Inspired by Southern charm and the beauty of homegrown blooms.

MY STORY
Lovegood Blooms was born in 2023 during a period of personal hardship. As a U.S. Army veteran, a wife to a USMC veteran, and the mother of an 11-year-old, I needed a steady and life-giving place to recover from ongoing health challenges. Gardening offered that space. What began as a quiet act of healing has grown into a small, mission-driven microfarm committed to local flowers and community connection.
That first year, I poured my heart into a small backyard garden. I also spent time volunteering with an occupational therapy program that used horses for healing. Cleaning stalls, walking them, and learning to be patient with the horses helped me develop patience with myself. The outdoors became my medicine. I started buying fresh flowers each week from a local farm called Knutsons Farms just to bring a little life back into my home, and into myself.
Then, something shifted. I watched seeds I planted turn into food that nourished me. Food that I grew. Somewhere between those quiet mornings with dirt under my nails and the first harvest on my kitchen counter, I found healing. That’s where Lovegood Blooms began to take root.
Lovegood Blooms isn’t just about my flowers. It’s about my faith, getting second chances, and finding beauty in the broken places. Every bloom here is a reminder that good things can grow again, no matter the season.
